Project Overview

This project gave us the exciting opportunity to partner with Lovelife, from its early conception to its successful launch, we continue to provide ongoing support. Inspired by the vision of bringing the best of the Mediterranean to Birmingham, we began by crafting a brand identity to reflect this idea.

The scope of the project soon extended beyond brand identity, to include designing print materials, packaging, menus, digital assets for advertising & social media, as well as a website.

Our goal for the Lovelife identity was to evoke a sense of having a ‘lust for life.’ This concept embodies both self-care through fresh, high-quality food and drink, as well as the occasional indulgence. Lovelife caters to both of these desires, offering a balanced experience that feels good in every sense.

We chose a palette of pinks, reds & creams for the visual identity, complementing the Mediterranean-inspired interior of the restaurant. The brand features both a logotype as well as an icon, designed to meet the diverse needs of various applications. Overall, the identity remains relatively stripped back, allowing for a playful & adaptable range of design possibilities.

Lovelife Tapas Menu

The elegant serif typeface ‘Canela’ serves as the cornerstone of Lovelife’s typography, offering a sophisticated touch. We paired it with the highly legible sans-serif ‘Satoshi,’ chosen specifically with menu designs in mind.

By overseeing the Lovelife brand on the website, we ensured a seamless transition from the restaurant’s physical ambiance to its online presence. Our goal for the website was to capture the essence of Lovelife in a clear and concise manner, helping visitors easily grasp its unique offerings—from the daytime brunch service to the evening tapas experience.
