Our History
Our design practice began in 2016 as the in-house design team for the Digbeth-based nightclub & event space Lab11. In 2020, we formed Circle Media with the aim to expand our client base beyond the nightclub & events world. Since then, we’ve worked with a variety of clients, producing, designing & developing for numerous projects & events under the Circle Media name.
Bringing us to where we are today, branching out into the wider world of design, offering our services & talent to startups as well as established companies & organisations to further their ambitions. We’re proud of our past, the ideas we brought to life & the individuals we have engaged with along the way, but sometimes… change is necessary to evolve.
We wanted to represent our past of where we began, as well as looking towards the future & how we can grow. For us, home is under the arches of Digbeth. It’s where our story started & a place we believe is one of the most creative areas of the UK. This is why in 2024, we were proud to announce that Studio Arch was born.
It’s an area that has showcased some of the world’s greatest electronic music acts & brought together crowds of partygoers. It’s the Second City’s home of underground music & exposes future talent. It accepts art, culture, design & everything in-between. It’s a place that offers something new & unique. But we believe that Digbeth is still growing & if it can reach higher-heights & so can we. Our vision for our future is bright & exciting. It allows us to confidently grow alongside our community, home & peers.
